Polisario clashes with tribesmen inside Tindouf camps

MEA Risk Brief: According to a security source, members of the security forces of the Sahrawi movement Polisario Front have clashed with Oulad Dim tribesmen inside the Sahrawi refugee camp of Tindouf on 16 February. The skirmish started when Polisario officials apprehended a member of the Oulad Dim tribe on drug charges. A brawl ensued after the arrest between the two sides, and at least three troops were wounded. The Polisario movement deployed some of its officials, who negotiated a truce with the tribe.
